Who are the BBC pundits for Euro 2024? Former Celtic, Man Utd and Chelsea trio among panellists

Scotland and England are heading over to Germany later this month

Scotland start their Euro 2024 journey with a clash against the hosts Germany at the Allianz Arena on Friday 14th June. Steve Clarke’s side have been placed into Group A along with this year’s host nation, Georgia and Turkey.

England, meanwhile, are in Group C with Serbia, Denmark and Slovenia. Fans will be able to keep up to date with the action from home if they aren’t making the trip overseas. With that in mind, here is a look at all the BBC pundits who will be seen on your television screens this summer...

Gary Lineker

The BBC presenter made 80 caps for England and scored 48 goals. He spent his playing career with the likes of Leicester City, Everton, Barcelona and Tottenham Hotspur.

Gabby Logan

The former gymnast has been presenting for BBC since 2007, having also worked for ITV in the past.

Mark Chapman

He is another familiar face on television and also covers rugby league and NFL.

Joe Hart

He has recently departed Celtic after helping them win the Scottish Cup and Scottish Premiership double in this past season. The goalkeeper moved up to Scotland in 2021 and made 151 appearances for the Hoops.

David Moyes

The Scotsman started his playing career at Celtic and has recently cut ties as West Ham’s manager.

Alex Scott

The former Arsenal midfielder has enjoyed a successful career in the media since hanging up her boots back in 2018.

Alan Shearer

A regular on Match of the Day, the ex-Blackburn Rovers and Newcastle United striker fired 379 goals in 734 matches in his playing days.

Rio Ferdinand

The former Leeds United and Manchester United man was an England international and has been a pundit for the Champions League on TNT Sports over recent times.

Frank Lampard

He is currently looking for a new managerial role having previously had spells in the dugout at Derby County, Everton and Chelsea.

Wayne Rooney

The 38-year-old has recently been named as the new boss of Plymouth Argyle in the Championship, having previously been at Derby, DC United and Birmingham City.

Cesc Fabregas

The Spaniard is likely to be a pundit for games when Spain are being covered by BBC. They are in Group B with Croatia, Italy and Albania and won the Euros in 1964, 2008 and 2012.

Micah Richards

The former Manchester City full-back is a regular pundit on a variety of different channels these days.

Thomas Frank

Brentford’s boss is from Denmark and his country are in England’s group along with Serbia and Slovenia.

Martin Keown

The 57-year-old is usually on co-commentary duties for the BBC.

Jermaine Jenas

He has delved into the media world after retiring and also hosts the One Show sometimes.

James McFadden

The Glasgow-born man was assistant manager of the Scotland national team from 2018 to 2019.

Ashley Williams

He made 86 caps for the Wales national team but they failed to qualify for Euro 2024 after losing to Poland.

Ellen White

She played for England on 113 after impressive spells at Chelsea, Arsenal, Birmingham City and Manchester City.

The 34-year-old, who is from Aberdeen, has 80 caps under her belt for Scotland and plays for Aston Villa.

Like Shearer and Richards, he is often seen on Match of the Day covering the Premier League.
