Rangers team news vs Motherwell: 10 out injured, 2 doubts as Philippe Clement enters crunch weekend at Hampden

Rangers have several injury concerns ahead of the Premier Sports Cup semi-final against Motherwell, as Philippe Clement enters must-win territory.

Rangers head into this week’s Premier Sports Cup semi-final looking to banish the ghosts of a difficult week, after they fell nine points behind both Celtic and Aberdeen in midweek.

A damaging 2-1 defeat to unexpected title contenders Aberdeen at Pittodrie has left Philippe Clement’s job hanging by a thread, with many viewing this weekend’s semi-final at Hampden Park as do-or-die for the Belgian.

The 53-year-old boss will head into the game with a huge doubt hanging over one of his star players though, while a number of others continue to be ruled out in a season littered with long-term injuries at Ibrox.

He isn’t the only one with injury problems though, with Motherwell head coach Stuart Kettlewell potentially miss up to seven first-team players for the final four clash in Mount Florida.
