Rangers pre-season promise of a rebuild season has resulted in this being one of the most interesting campaigns yet on the transfer front at Ibrox, with over 15 players leaving the club and 12 more coming in during 24/25.
Sadly for ex-head coach Philippe Clement, a run of poor results means he will not lead the Rangers rebuild, with the Belgian boss sacked following the dismal 2-0 home defeat to St Mirren last weekend. Ibrox icon and former captain Barry Ferguson has been given the role on an interim basis, and he will look to eat into Celtic’s 13 point lead at the top.
While the restructure of the squad saw just one incoming during the January window, a number of others departed as the Rangers hierarchy continued to slimline a bloated squad, with the likes of Alex Lowry, Rabbi Matondo and Adam Devine all departing for pastures new.
In total, there have been 16 first team departures from Ibrox during the 24/25 campaign, but how have they fared for their new clubs so far this season?

5. Ben Davies - Birmingham City (loan)
A flop at Ibrox, the ex-Liverpool centre-back has been a revelation at St Andrews, where he's been a vital part of their starting XI. He's made a massive impression on the on-looking Birmingham fans, who are hoping he will join the club permanently in the summer. 6. Kieran Dowell - Birmingham City (loan)
Another Rangers fringe star to impress in the Midlands, Dowell has hit the ground running after signing for Birmingham City on a loan until the end of the season last month. Has started the club's last five games, and already bagged his first goal at St Andrews in a 4-0 hammering of Cambridge United. 7. Scott Wright - Birmingham City
One of three Rangers players to sign for Birmingham City this season, the ex-Aberdeen winger was the only player to sign a permanent deal at St Andrews. Had an explosive start to his career with the Blues, scoring a last minute winner on his debut. However, injury curtailed his involvement thereafter. 8. John Lundstram - Trabzonspor
Fondly remembered for his winning goal against RB Leipzig in the Europa League semi-final, Lundstram had a disappointing end to his time at Rangers. Sent off in his final league game against Celtic, he was a late substitute in the Scottish Cup final defeat just weeks later. Had a slow start to his time at Trabzonspor, with the Turkish outfit struggling for form. However, has scored three goals in his last seven appearances for the club, who have lost just once in their last nine games. | AFP via Getty Images Photo: Getty Images
