Formerly known as FIFA Football, EA Sports’ latest edition of its much-loved football simulation EA FC has revealed its latest cover star for the 2025 edition of the game.
The longest-running and most popular football computer game will see Jude Bellingham adorn its EA FC 25 cover. The game heralded as the ultimate experience for football fanatics since its first release in 1993, allowed users to control their favourite teams and favourites players from the comfort of their home.
As so often has been over the years, EA Sports would ensure you knew exactly who the biggest football star was at the time of the game’s release, with the cover star of each game often the world’s most loved player that year.
Now onto its 33 edition of the game, we look at which stars have adored the corner over the years after Jude Bellingham inclusion on the 2025 edition of the game.

2. 1995 - Erik Thorstvedt
A rather random edition to the cover, the Tottenham Hotspur and Norway international was the cover star in 1995. As an earlier version, the cover stars were seemingly not quite as important at this point. | Getty Images

3. 1996 - Andy Legg and Ioan Sabau
With all due respect, the 1996 cover is probably the one and only time a Notts County and Brescia player will adorn the cover of the EA Sports game. It gets better, we promise. | Getty Images

4. 1997 - David Ginola
The first genuine star on the cover of the EA Sports game was Newcastle United's David Ginola, who's outstanding season for the Magpies made him worth putting on the cover. Also appeared in a L'Oreal advert at the time - he was big news. | Getty Images
