The transfer window is closed and following a busy summer of activity it is time to have another look at which players have the highest transfer value in Scottish Premiership.
It no surprise that Celtic and Rangers dominate the list, with only one non-Old Firm player included among the top 22 most valuable players in the country.
There are some new additions to the list, while one player who previously topped the rankings, Celtic’s Matt O’Riley, has now departed following a £26million move to Brighton.
That means there is a new name at the top of the pile, with Celtic making up most of the top 10.
Here is who the top 22 most valuable players in Scotland are right now, ranked from lowest to highest, according to data used by transfermarkt.com.

13. Daizen Maeda - £5.9m
A bargain £1.6m signing from Yokohama, the Japanese forward's value has soared over his three years at Celtic thanks to his high-octane, high-impact performances, particularly in Old Firm derbies. | SNS Group

14. Vaclav Cerny - £5.9m
The highest rated Rangers player to appear on the list is on a season-long loan from Wolfsburg. The Czech Republic international is the eighth most valuable player in the Scottish top flight. | Getty Images

15. Auston Trusty - £5.9m
Celtic paid a hefty £6m fee to sign the US international centre-back from Sheffield United on transfer deadline day and, according to transfermarkt.com, that is around his market value. | SNS Group

16. Greg Taylor - £6.3m
A £3m signing for Celtic from Kilmarnock in 2019, the Scotland left-back has been worth every penny. He is out of contract at the end of the season, however, so could leave for nothing if no deal is agreed. | SNS Group
