The transfer window is closed and following a busy summer of activity it is time to have another look at which players have the highest transfer value in Scottish Premiership.
It no surprise that Celtic and Rangers dominate the list, with only one non-Old Firm player included among the top 22 most valuable players in the country.
There are some new additions to the list, while one player who previously topped the rankings, Celtic’s Matt O’Riley, has now departed following a £26million move to Brighton.
That means there is a new name at the top of the pile, with Celtic making up most of the top 10.
Here is who the top 22 most valuable players in Scotland are right now, ranked from lowest to highest, according to data used by transfermarkt.com.

9. Ridvan Yilmaz - £4.2m
The Turkish full-back was signed for an initial £3.4m, which could rise to £5.3m with add-ons. He is valued somewhere in the middle of those two figures. | SNS Group

10. Danilo - £5.1m
The Brazilian's estimated value has dipped slightly since his £6m arrival at Rangers from Feyenoord last summer. Injury issues have been a contributing factor and he is yet to really get going at Ibrox. | Getty Images

11. James Tavernier - £5.5m
The Rangers captain's estimated transfer value has waned somewhat from a high of £8.5m two years ago but the highest scoring British defender of all-time would still command a decent transfer fee. | Getty Images

12. Nicolas Raskin - £5.5m
The Belgian has had a stop-start Rangers career so far but is now worth considerably more than the £800,000 transfer fee spent signing him from Standard Liege in January 2023, according to transfermarkt.com. | Getty Images
