What channel is Celtic v Middlesbrough on? TV, live stream details for pre-season friendly at Parkhead

Full details ahead of the pre-season clash between Celtic and Middlesbrough at Parkhead.

Celtic will play on home soil for the first time since their dramatic final day Scottish Premiership title win over Hearts this weekend as they welcome EFL Championship side Middlesbrough in a pre-season friendly.

Martin O’Neill’s men will be looking to secure their first victory of the summer campaign after their 1-1 draw with Shelbourne was followed up with a 4-1 defeat to Sporting CP in Portugal on Tuesday night.

The home support will hope to get a first glance of their new £6million summer signing, Camilo Duran, after he fought off illness in midweek to take part against Sporting CP, bagging his side’s only goal at the Estadio Algarve.

As for their opponents, Middlesbrough, they enter the game fresh off the back of a gruelling campaign that saw them miss out on promotion to the English Premier League with a 1-0 defeat to Hull City in the EFL Championship playoff final in May. Scotland Under-21 international Kyle Joseph could make his debut for the visitors following his £5million switch from the Tigers earlier this week, while former Rangers defender George Edmundson could also be in the line-up for the Teessiders.

Following the clash with Kim Hellberg’s side, Celtic will continue their pre-season preparations with a visit from Serie A giants AC Milan to Parkhead, with the game scheduled to take place on July 25.
