Celtic are back in UEFA Champions League action this week as they travel to Italy to face Serie A outfit Atalanta at the Gewiss Stadium in Bergamo (kick off: 8pm).
Fresh from a pulsating 2-2 draw with Aberdeen in the Scottish Premiership, Brendan Rodgers’ side will be looking to kick start their European campaign after the 7-1 hammering they took from Borussia Dortmund in their previous Champions League clash.
The visiting Bhoys are currently sat in 20th place in the League Path on three points, though their hosts occupy 11th place after defeating Shakhtar Donetsk 3-0 in their last Champions League outing.
In total, up to seven players could be missing for the clash in Bergamo, with hosts Atalanta having a number of injuries issues. Here, The Scotsman looks at both sides injury doubts ahead of the game:

1. Gianluca Scamacca - Atalanta
Was one of the Atalanta's key players last year, scoring 12 Serie A goals, but has been unable to feature after picking up a knee injury. Won't return until April at the earliest, according to reports. | Getty Images

2. Giorgio Scalvini - Atalanta
The young Italian centre-back will be out until next year after picking up an ACL injury in June. Definitely out. | Getty Images
