Fontaines D.C. to headline Glasgow Green in 2027: Here's how to get tickets and presale for their biggest Scottish gig to date

After selling out their gig a the OVO Hydro in Glasgow later this year, Fontaines D.C. will return with their biggest headline show in Scotland to date next summer.
Fontaines D.C. have announced a major outdoor gig in Glasgow next summer, after selling out their UK arena tour.
Their biggest headline show in Scotland to date, the Irish band will play Glasgow Green on July 6 following their sold out night at the OVO Hydro later this year. Both gigs will follow the release of Fontaines D.C.’s fifth studio album Dopamine Chamber, which includes recent single Marianne, the follow up to their 2024 record Romance.
Known for songs such as Starburster, Favourite, and Boys in the Better Land, and the Irish group will be joined by Little Simz and Viagra Boys for their performance in Glasgow next summer.
All tickets for Fontaines D.C.’s 2027 UK tour will include a £1 donation to War Child, to help protect, educate, and stand up for the rights of children affected by war.

As well as their show a the OVO Hydro later this year, Fontaines D.C. will be back in the city for a massive open air gig at Glasgow Green on Tuesday, July 6. One of several shows planned for next summer, here are all of Fontaines D.C’s upcoming UK tour dates.

When do tickets for Fontaines D.C. at Glasgow Green go on sale?
General sale for Fontaines D.C.’s 2027 Glasgow show will go on sale from 10am on Thursday, September 10 via sites including Ticketmaster.
If purchasing tickets using Ticketmaster, fans are advised to keep the following tips in mind:
- Sign up / log in to your account well before the sale begins
- Save your card details to your account for faster checkout
- Use only one browser tab and device per attempt (or risk being put to the back of the queue)
- Disable any VPN software
- Take advantage of systems such as Ticketmaster’s waiting room, which will open 15 minutes before the sale starts
Tickets are limited to 6 per person, with ticket transfers only possible a week before the event. If you can no longer attend, ticket resale will only be permitted through either Ticketmaster or Twickets, and only from October 8 2026.
Fontaines D.C. Glasgow Green presale
If you didn’t already bag tickets for their Hydro gig or you’re more interested in seeing the band alongside their impressive support acts next summer, there are still plenty of presale options available.
Fans who haven’t already signed up for Fontaines D.C. presale can get early ticket access for Glasgow Green by signing up here before 9pm on Monday, September 7. Further details and access codes for artist presale will be issued via email, with tickets available from 10am on Tuesday, September 8.
The following day, there are then four further Fontaines D.C. presale options.
There is PayPal Plus presale for customers who have signed up for the rewards programme from 10am on Wednesday, September 9. At the same time, there is also Live Nation presale for anyone who registers for an account on the website here.
Also beginning at 10am on Wednesday, September 9 is Gigs in Scotland presale, which is exclusive to Fontaines D.C.’s Glasgow Green show, and can be accessed by signing up here.
The final presale covering Fontaines D.C.’s 2027 UK tour dates is through Spotify. Eligible fans will receive an email with an access code in the lead up to the presale which will begin at 12pm on Wednesday, September 9.

Are there any age restrictions?
Yes, no under 14s will be able to see Fontaines D.C. at Glasgow Green, as the gig is standing only. Anyone under the age of 16 must be accompanied by an adult aged 21 or over.
Little Simz and Viagra Boys to support Fontaines D.C. at Glasgow Green
As well as seeing Fontaines D.C. at Glasgow Green next July, the band will be joined by two huge support acts: Little Simz and Viagra Boys.
London rapper Little Simz is best known for songs including Woman (featuring Cleo Sol), Venom (Remix), Flood (featuring Obongjayar and Moonchild Sanelly) and more, though fans may also recognise her from Top Boy, The Power and Youngers.
Also on the line-up for Glasgow Green are the Viagra Boys, a Swedish post-punk band. They released their fifth studio album Viagr Aboys in 2025. The album features track The Bog Body which won the award for Most Bizarre at the Berlin Music Video Awards.
