Yorkhill Children’s Charity is staging a fundraising ball that will see attendees doing Highland reels.

Aided by one of the country’s top ceilidh bands, you can dance into the small hours of the morning while knowing you’re raising money for a children’s hospital.

The comedy musical follows the life of Deloris Van Cartier, a woman hiding from the police in a convent. Anyone who knows the Whoopi Goldberg film will be familiar with the story: a lounge singer who wants to be a star, she finds settling with the nuns difficult. While Mother Superior watches on suspiciously, Deloris takes control of the convent’s choir and begins to form a bond with her fellow sisters.

SHOW: VAMPIRES ROCK

This musical comedy is set in 2030s New York City, where the undead are among us and livelier than ever.

Baron Von Rockula, the owner of the Live and Let Die club is searching for love – when he finds The One, he spends the evening persuading her of the merits of joining the undead.

A musical spectacular containing some of the greatest rock anthems ever, including Meat Loaf, Rainbow, AC/DC, Alice Cooper, the Rolling Stones, Bon Jovi, Queen, Whitesnake, Bonnie Tyler and Cher.

BAND: KING’S PARK BRASS

King’s Park Brass are a Glasgow-based ensemble with a global outlook. Their new show, Music From Many Lands, will dive into all sorts of music from across the globe. Promising to take us from From Vienna to Vladivostok, there’ll be something to enjoy for everyone in this 80-minute whistle-stop tour of world music.

DINNER SHOW: DEL AND RODNEY

Del and Rodney is an Only Fools And Horses-themed live sitcom dining experience which unfolds in a rammy of improv, singalongs and back-and-forth between comedians and guests.
