With over 30 pubs throughout Scotland thought to have had ghostly sightings, with the help of research by Funky Pigeon, we set out to discover which pubs are most likely to spot something out of the ordinary.
Using the Paranormal Database, research was conducted by collecting all reports and locations that had the most reported sightings by county and individual place - as well as filtering out those reports which took place in a pub.

5. The Globe Inn - Dumfries
The Globe Inn is haunted by the ghostly figure of a young girl named Anna who is said to have poltergeist abilities.

6. Bankfoot Inn - Bankfoot
Affectionately known as 'The Thing' this entity is said to be a shadowy older male and has been seen standing at the base of beds in the Bankfoot Inn.

7. The Banshee Labyrinth - Edinburgh
The Banshee claims to be Edinburgh's most haunted pub, with reports ranging from hearing a young woman sobbing to phantom 'Six Finger Bill' who sits under tables and grabs customer's ankles.

8. Coylet Inn - Lock Eck
The Coylet Inn is said to be haunted by the spirit of a boy who had previously drowned in the loch. Known simply as 'the Blue Boy', he was even the subject of a BBC TV series.
