Telford College appoints new principal

TELFORD College has appointed Miles Dibsdall as its new principal and chief executive.

Mr Dibsdall will be joining the college from his previous role as principal of New College, Stamford, in Lincolnshire, and has more than 14 years of senior management experience.

Ed Weeple, chair of the board of management at the college, said: "The board of management is delighted that Miles Dibsdall has accepted the offer to be the next principal of Edinburgh's Telford College. To appoint someone of such high calibre reflects extremely well on the college."

Mr Dibsdall, who will start his new job in April, added: "I am looking forward to joining Edinburgh's Telford College and working with the governors, staff, learners and community as together we continue to build on the college's high reputation for outstanding learning, training and development opportunities."
