The Download Festival returns to Donington Park, in Derby, for three days of rock from this Friday, June 14.
It’s the 21st time the feast of music has been held, with the main stage headlined by Fall Out Boy, Avenged Sevenfold and Queens of the Stone Age.
Meanwhile, those topping the bill on the smaller stages include Busted, Pantera, Funeral for a Friend and Machine Head.
But there are a huge number of other bands packed lower down on the bill, making scheduling a bit of a headache.
To help you out, we’re taking a look at our must-see bands - including some you may not have heard of yet.
Here are our 12 picks, from old favourites to soon-to-be new favourites.

5. Of Mice and Men
It's always been a bit of a puzzle why Californian band Of Mice & Men aren't bigger - although the departure of lead vocalist and founding member Austin Carlile certainly didn't help. Their eight studio albums show a tremendous evolution of sound, running the gamut from post-hardcore to mor melodic nu metal. Expect their early bangers to garner the biggest crowd repsonse when they play the Avalanche Stage on Sunday. | Contributed

6. HotWax
English alternative rock trio HotWax have yet to release an album, but have developed a fearsome live reputation with extensive touring over the last year. Check out their 2023 EPs A Thousand Times and Invite Me, Kindly, before rocking out with them on the Opus Stage on Saturday. | Contributed

7. Electric Callboy
If you've never seen - or heard of Electic Callboy may we direct you to Download's Opus Stage on Sunday - where they are third on the bill. If you have seen them before they'll no doubt already be at the top of your 'must-see' list. The German electronicore band are simply one of the best live acts on the planet at the moment - and also very, very funny. | Getty Images

8. Tom Morello
With this year's Download Festival arguably low on true legends of rock (although there's always the surprise act to come...) Tom Morello really stands out on the linup. The Rage Against The Machine and Audioslave legend is one of the first guitarists of his generation and always a thrill to see live. Pay tribute to him at the Opus Stage on Saturday. | Getty Images for LOVE ROCKS NYC/
