Big Brother is back - with 16 contestants consenting to be locked away in a house filled with cameras for a few weeks.
The reality television show that defined the genre returned in 2023 for the first time in five years, moving to ITV2 - and the Big Brother house has now welcomed its latest residents for 2024.
First broadcast on Channel 4 in 2000 - when millions were glued to the antics of Nasty Nick, Craig Phillips and Anna Nolan - the prorgamme later moved to Channel 5 before being cancelled in 2018.
The first eviction has already seen 28-year-old marketing and event worker Ryan given his marching orders, with 15 people left in the house hoping to win the £100,000 prize.
Here's who the bookies think has the best - and worst - chance of becoming the latest entry in the Big Brother hall of fame
1. Lily Benson - 13/5
The 13/5 favourite for the Big Brother crown is 20-year-old Lily, from Warrington. The Chinese takeaway server said: "I originally applied because it was my ex’s favourite TV show because we broke up. I thought ‘I’m going to go on his favourite TV show’. I’d never heard of it. When I dated him, he was obsessed with it and I was like ‘what is it?’ because he was older." | ITV
2. Rosie Williams - 13/5
Priced at 13/5 second favourite is 29-year-old Rosie from Cornwall. The dental assistant said: "I’m hoping it’s going to be a little something different. I think I’m going to bring positive energy. I am a good listener and I can be there to support people - I’m a supportive person. I’m quite an enthusiastic person so if people are feeling a bit low, I can get them back on track." | ITV
3. Ali Bromley
Third favourite, with odds of 6/1, is 38-year-old Ali, from London. The forensic psychologist said: "I think the fact that I’m a forensic psychologist will surprise people. It’s not your everyday, typical 9-5 office job. It’s quite difficult, it’s quite demanding and I work in highly stressful situations. But I’m quite chilled and probably don’t look like the sort of person who can hold my own – in a prison for example." | ITV
4. Khaled Khaled
23-year-old Khaled, from Manchester, is 17/2 to triumph. The sales manager said: "I tell it like it is – that’s a guarantee. Even though I feel like I can positively say something with the right intention, there will still be someone who has a problem with it." | ITV
