Big Brother 2024 Odds: Who the bookies think will win and who'll be next out - including Scot Nathan King

The Big Brother house is once again full of wannabe television stars.

Big Brother is back - with 16 contestants consenting to be locked away in a house filled with cameras for a few weeks.

The reality television show that defined the genre returned in 2023 for the first time in five years, moving to ITV2 - and the Big Brother house has now welcomed its latest residents for 2024.

First broadcast on Channel 4 in 2000 - when millions were glued to the antics of Nasty Nick, Craig Phillips and Anna Nolan - the prorgamme later moved to Channel 5 before being cancelled in 2018.

The first eviction has already seen 28-year-old marketing and event worker Ryan given his marching orders, with 15 people left in the house hoping to win the £100,000 prize.

The climate activist said: "I think there’s something about allowing yourself to find moments of grace that really interested me, and this was something that was kind of strange and interesting. I decided that it was probably a good place to start if I wanted to do something that allows and gives me an opportunity to grow."

I’m never one to shy away from asking people’s opinions even if it’s controversial. I think I’d be a good chair for good conversations, and instigate some good entertainment for us all."
