2. Get Out (2017)
The directorial debut of comedian Jordan Peele, Get Out is considered one of the best horror films of the 21st century. The film follows Daniel Kaluuya’s character Chris, a young black man, as he goes to meet the family of his white girlfriend Rose — played by Allison Williams — for the first time. He soon realises that their over-accommodating behaviour isn’t awkwardness from dealing with an interracial relationship, but instead is something much more disturbing.
