As one of our readers said, it isn't Christmas until they have seen Hans Gruber on their screen. We all have our traditional favourite festive film ever.
However, they do say film is subjective, so discovering what Scotland's favourite Christmas movie of all time is can be a tough challenge.
That said, we thought we would leave the decision to our readers via our Facebook page. We asked you what was the ultimate Christmas film of all time - and here's what you said...

5. Love Actually (2003)
It turns 20 this year, believe it or not, but despite only being two decades old, it makes the top five in our list of Scotland's favourite Christmas films. | United International Pictures

6. Miracle on 34th Street (1947)
Whether it's the 1994 version or the 1947 original, Miracle on 34th Street is still one of the most favoured Christmas films. However, the 1947 original is the film our readers voted in at number six. | 20th Century Fox

7. The Muppet Christmas Carol (1992)
Short, sweet and full of Christmas cheer. You can't beat a bit of The Muppet's at Christmas and it makes our number seven on the list. | Disney Photo: Disney

8. A Christmas Story (1983)
A surprise in our top 10 is A Christmas Story. A festive film which follows Ralphie, a nine-year-old boy, tries to convince his parents, his teacher and Santa that he needs a Red Ryder BB gun for Christmas. Photo: Metro-Goldwyn-Mayer
