As Arctic Monkeys headline Glastonbury this year we're looking back at how they - and 9 other festival big-hitters - once played an attic in Scotland's biggest city.
5. Radiohead
When hotly-tipped indie band visited King Tut's on tour in 1993 they were touring debut album Pablo Honey. The lucky few who were there on the night got to hear Creep live, a song the band have seldom played since.
6. Snow Patrol
In 1998 playing King Tut's was a fairly big gig for the four Dundee University students who had just rechristened their band Snow Patrol (Polar Bear and Shrug being their previous monikers). A couple of years later they'd be headlining T in the Park.
7. Muse
They're now known for their huge theatrical gigs with high production values, fireworks and anything else Matt Bellamy can get his hands on. In 2000 they visited King Tut's with a far more modest - but just as well received - show.
8. My Chemical Romance
Emo music was just starting to get popular when My Chemical Romance made their first visit to Glasgow to play King Tut's in 2004. They now easily fill The Hydro.
