

Record Store Day 2022: 13 of this year's big limited edition vinyl releases - from Taylor Swift to The Proclaimers
Now over 200 independent record stores across the UK take part each year, selling thousands of copies of exclusive vinyl, from new releases to old classics.
And there’s plenty of choices of places to queue up to get your top choice in Scotland for this year’s event on Saturday, April 23.
In Edinburgh participating stores include VoxBox Music, Assai Records, Ilium, Avalanche Records, Thorne Records, and Underground Solu'shn.
Glasgow shops taking part include Love Music, Monorail Music, Mostly Vinyl Micky, Blitzkriegshop, Chameleon@Glasgow Audio, Strip Joint Records, Mixed Up Records, and Some Great Reward.
Across the rest of Scotland you can find Record Store Day releases at Low Port Music in Linlithgow, Europa Music in Stirling, Concorde Music in Perth, Le Freak Records in Dundee, Assai Records in Dundee, Thirteen Records in Dundee, Red Robin Records in Aberdeen, Chameleon in Aberdeen, and Mo Fidelity in Montrose.

5. Camera Obscura - Making Money
A Record Store Day exclusive from Glasgow indie pop band Camera Obscura, ‘Making Money’ is being pressed on transparent mint vinyl and is being released in the memory of keyboardist Carey Lander, who sadly lost her battle with cancer in 2015. 6. U2 - A Celebration
U2's offering for this year's Record Store Day is a 40th anniversary edition of the single ‘A Celebration’, originally released in 1982. The 4-track EP, will contain two previously unreleased recordings. Photo: RSD

7. The Streets - Original Pirate Material
The Streets' groundbreaking and much-loved debut Original Pirate Material is getting the full box set treatment for its 20th anniversary. The package includes the album on double orange coloured vinyl, a Locked On special edition one off Streets vinyl, and a limited The Streets print. Photo: RSD

8. Mariah Carey - #1's
For pop fans artists don't come much bigger than Maraiah Carey. #1’s is a collection of Mariah Carey’s first 13 chart topping singles originally released in 1998. The greatest hitsalbum includes the classics 'Always Be My Baby', 'Fantasy' and 'One Sweet Day', along with four bonus tracks included on the original vinyl pressing. Photo: RSD
