Scotland’s wait for a first win against the mighty All Blacks goes on following a 43-21 defeat at Murrayfield.
It was a breath-taking first half that saw hooker Ewan Ashman become the first Scot to score a hat-trick against New Zealand as the hosts trailed 24-21. However, the visitors ran away with it after the break and prevented Scotland adding any more points while racking them up themselves.
In the end, it was a performance with plenty of hard work and effort - but most players in blue were simply second best to their opposite man.
Following the defeat, this is how we rated the players from the Nations Championship November Test at Murrayfield:

1. Rory Sutherland - 3
Only lasted around 32 minutes before being subbed. Worked hard in defence but didn't get a chance to test himself at the scrum. | SNS Group

2. Ewan Ashman - 9
A historic hat-trick against the All Blacks and would have received 10/10 had he been on the winning side. | Getty Images

3. Zander Fagerson - 5
Contributed well in open play both carrying and in defence. The scrum was well beaten but the problems were coming more from the loose head side. | SNS Group / SRU

4. Gregor Brown - 7
Huge jackal penalty at the end of the first half as New Zealand attacked. Started at lock and moved to the back row and did well in both positions. | SNS Group / SRU
