Scotland’s wait for a first win against the mighty All Blacks goes on following a 43-21 defeat at Murrayfield.
It was a breath-taking first half that saw hooker Ewan Ashman become the first Scot to score a hat-trick against New Zealand as the hosts trailed 24-21. However, the visitors ran away with it after the break and prevented Scotland adding any more points while racking them up themselves.
In the end, it was a performance with plenty of hard work and effort - but most players in blue were simply second best to their opposite man.
Following the defeat, this is how we rated the players from the Nations Championship November Test at Murrayfield:

5. Scott Cummings - 7
Line-out operated smoothly throughout and resulted in tries. A decent showing for the Glasgow Warrior and a full 80-minute shift. | SNS Group / SRU

6. Matt Fagerson - 5
Too easily beaten by Sititi for the opening try from a line-out maul. Some decent carries but, like many of his forward teammates, not enough meters gained as he hit a wall of white jerseys time and again. | Getty Images

7. Rory Darge - 8
Just seems to pop up everywhere and keeps going and going, particularly working harder than anyone in defence. Unfortunately the All Blacks were just too strong. | Getty Images

8. Jack Dempsey - 7
Huge defensive effort in the first half including holding up a sure New Zealand try. Plenty big carries too but a neck roll penalty proved costly. | SNS Group / SRU
