Highland: Bold Turriff bring Cove's three-year home run to end

DAVE McKenzie helped Turriff shatter Cove Rangers' three-year unbeaten reign at home, driving the underdogs to a stirring second-half comeback from a goal behind.

Victory kept the league newcomers in a the-way tie at the top and McKenzie said: "I'm not really bothered about the significance of the win in terms of records - I'm just chuffed with the win. It's another big three points for us."

Calum Watson struck first for Cove after 26 minutes, but Mark Cowie levelled after 49 minutes and Craig Dorrat hit the winner four minutes later. Despite having Alan Redford sent off, Cove went at Turriff towards the end but couldn't find a leveller.
