The Scotsman look through the top 13 free agents available to clubs in the Scottish Premiership, from ‘the Romanian Jack Grealish’ to a four time Champions League winner.

5. Brandon Williams
The ex-England under-21 starlet was linked to Rangers in the summer window, after the left-back departed Manchester United in the summer. Still without a club, Williams has undoubted potential, but has struggled with injury and form since making an initial impression at Old Trafford during his 2019/20 breakout season. | Getty Images Photo: Getty Images

6. Ryan Kent
The ex-Rangers forward has often been linked with a return to Ibrox, and is currently a free agent after seeing his contract at Fenebache cancelled. A former PFA Scotland Young Player of the Year, he been tipped to make a shock move to Iranian side Persepolis after reportedly being convinced by a bizarre law that would allow him to own a crocodile as a pet. 7. Serge Aurier
The ex-Nottingham Forest defender was one of Europe's most highly-rated full-backs not so long ago, joining Tottenham Hotspur for a fee of £23million in 2017. While he isn't the player he used to be, he's a free agent after leaving Galatasaray in the summer and is still just 32. | AFP via Getty Images Photo: Getty Images

8. Cheikhou Kouyaté
The 35-year-old defensive midfielder may be reaching the end of his career, but he could still provide experience and quality to many Scottish Premiership sides. Without a club since departing Nottingham Forest in the summer, he reportedly earned £45,000 a week at the City Ground, which would be the main stumbling block. | Nathan Stirk Photo: Nathan Stirk
