We are four days into the January transfer window and transfer speculation has been on the rise in the SPFL.
The uncertainty of the coronavirus and the increased lockdown measures could alter clubs’ business this month with the fear that the game could be postponed. If that were to happen, there would be huge concerns over finances.
In the meantime, clubs up and down the SPFL will be looking to do what they can, whether it is incoming signings or moving players on.
Celtic, Rangers, Hearts and Hibs are all expected to do a bit of business before deadline day.

Thomas Robert on transfer speculation
Airdrieonians star Thomas Robert has reponded to transfer speculation linking him with a umber of clubs in the SPFL, including Celtic and Rangers.
Speaking to the Daily Mail, he said: "The most important thing is first of all to prove myself with Airdrie and after, of course, it's a dream for me to play with a big team like Celtic, Rangers or in the English Premier League."
Old Firm target hands in transfer request
Siriki Dembele, who has been linked with Celtic and Rangers, has handed in a transfer request.
The Peterborough United forward is the brother of Celtic starlet Karamoko.
He has impressed for the Posh this campaign attracting interest from north and south of the border.
The club’s co-owner Darragh MacAnthony said: “Every player in League One is for sale, but only at the right price. Siriki won’t be going anywhere unless we receive an acceptable offer."
St Johnstone sign Brown
The former Livingston loanee replaces Danny McNamara in Perth.
Celtic could be set to lose out on signing
Reports in Turkey state that Celtic target Bright Osayi-Samuel could make a January transfer window switch to Fenerbahce. The QPR winger has been on Neil Lennon’s radar after turning down the offer of a new contract with his current deal set to expire this summer. (Bursa Hakimiyet)
Rangers wary of losing three stars in summer
Rangers are bracing for life without James Tavernier, Borna Barisic and Connor Goldson as the Ibrox side face mounting interest in the trio from clubs south of the border. Hibs set to sign Cadden
Hibs expect to wrap up the signing of former Motherwell player Chris Cadden within the next few days. The 24-year-old, who came through the Fir Park youth ranks, made over 130 first team appearances for the Steelmen before quitting the Premiership in July 2019. (Evening News)
