Rangers' team to take on Aberdeen at Pittodrie revealed - Morelos, Balogun, Hagi and Aribo start for Steven Gerrard

Steven Gerrard has named his starting XI to face Aberdeen in this afternoon’s televised match at Pittodrie.

The Rangers boss has restricted options in the middle of the park with Scott Arfield, Ryan Jack, George Edmundson and Jordan Jones all unavailable through injury.

Up front he is also missing Kemar Roofe, while Niko Katic continues his long-term lay-off.

Rangers won their last meeting 4-0 and were 1-0 winners on their last trip to the Granite City with a goal from Ryan Kent and Gerrard is hoping to continue where they left off with a clean-sheet on the opening day of the season and has included the winger from the start.
