How the Rangers players rated in 4-0 SPFL win over Aberdeen

Rangers were comfortable in their 4-0 win over Aberdeen to move 11 points clear at the top of the table

Aberdeen were heavily depleted but Steven Gerrard went for the jugular with a very attacking line-up that also included James Tavernier making his 150th league appearance against the side he has the best scoring record against.

Alfredo Morelos and Kemar Roofe both started with Ryan Kent in support and Ryan Jack keeping Steven Davis on the bench – and the selection was rewarded with a high-scoring and dominant display from Rangers where not everyone was firing on all cylinders, but were still comfortably better than their north-east opponents.

Two goals in each half gave Steven Gerrard’s side the win, and several substitutions throughout the game spread minutes through the squad to give many of the first-team a run.

Here's how the players rated.

Scale - 10: One of the best performances you've seen. 9: Outstanding. 8: Very good. 7: Good. 6: Average. 5: Poor, 4: Very poor. 3: A terrible day at the office. 2: Abysmal. 1: One of the worst performances you've seen.
