It’s never dull when Rangers are in Belgium after Kemar Roofe’s halfway-line wonder goal stunned Standard Liege and then last week’s manic first leg which leaves Steven Gerrard’s side with a goal advantage and four away goals to fall back on if required when Franky Vercauteren’s side come to Glasgow.

Here’s all you need to know ahead of Thursday’s game.

Franky Vercauteren revitalised The Great Old’s form when he took over in the festive period and saw Antwerp ascend to second in the Jupiler League but in the last month things haven’t been great. Defeat to Rangers was the third match in a four-game spell without a win for his side after defeats to Club Brugge and draws with Sint-Truiden and Standard Liege.

Who to Watch

Lamakel Ze has scored five goals since the turn of the year and returns on Thursday after missing the first leg through suspension. Ze took on the goalscoring mantle of midfielder Lior Refaelov who hit seven in the first half of the season and returned to the scoresheet last week against Steven Gerrard’s side. Veteran Dieumerci Mbokani has hit eight goals but the striker has been sidelined with a calf injury and is a doubt.
