How the Rangers players rated in 3-0 win over St Johnstone

They brought Alfredo Morelos off the bench in the second half to take part in the win after his suspension and maintained a 16-point margin at the top of the table.

1. Allan McGregor - 7
Little to do as has so often been the case this season, but alert to make a great one-handed save from Kane in the second half. Photo: Rob Casey - SNS Group

2. James Tavernier - 7
Most right-backs would be delighted with a performance like this , but Tavernier's standards have been so high this term, he looked off-colour by comparison. Still a strong performer, willing runner and key feature in Rangers' play. Photo: Rob Casey - SNS Group

3. Borna Barisic - 7
Left-back involved a lot more than captain on the opposite side but back and front Croatian was useful asset. Should have done better with a first-half free-kick. Photo: SNS Group

4. Connor Goldson - 7
Unable to step out as much as he'd like and passes from deeper were not quite as effective, but defensively sound and brave with Helander alongside. Photo: IAN MACNICOL
