Steven Gerrard has never played the Bairns on their home patch before, but predecessors have – to varying degrees of success.

Mark Warburton was on the receiving end of a couple of dramatic defeats when Rangers were int h Championship, and Ally McCoist’s side was also eliminated from this competition in September 2011. There’s been a few cup games since then all at Westfield and all falling in Rangers’ favour.
