Many agreed it was a strong team – but with one glaring omission from the midfield.

@OhItsSteely: “Where be Aribo?”

@Chr1sMcLaughlin: “If Gerrard says he's a week to 10 days away, I'll scream.”

@Glxn72: “Aribo better no be injured.”

@YodaOnXbox: “Aribo must have a knock there's no way on earth he'd be missing if fit he 100% a start...but still a good lineup let's go.”

Most though were backing the Bears to win at Ibrox with the players put out.

Barry Brown: “That would be my starting 11 so pleased with that.”

@DolefulDoug: “As always preferring to see Balogun at the back over Helander, I believe the Swede to be too slow. Glad Roofe is getting game time as he looks dangerous on the wing or through the centre with some skill to match!”

@jambo87: “Hopefully big Aribo out is just precautionary? Would have preferred Helander and save Balogun for the weekend but let’s get at them tonight Gers!”

Dylan Thomas Baker: “Good to see Kent thought he was a doubt – let's do this, top the group.”

@jaybirdie1: “Going for an attacking team, I see, that's magic, lets show them who we are, no slack defence, good luck.

Christopher Dixon: “Solid let's show them how it's done.”

However, not all were impressed.

@CF3Loyal: “That’s the worst bench we’ve had for some time. Shows the challenge we face with squad registration because of our lack of domestically trained players.
