It’s finally here! Like a kid on Christmas eve, Scotland fans are in full Euro 2024 mode as the team prepare to open the tournament against hosts Germany tomorrow night.
The Tartan Army’s first major tournament on foreign soil since World Cup 1998, the optimism is almost as high as the anticipation with thousands of Scotland fans already descending on Munich.
As Scott McKenna attested to earlier in the week, all 26 squad members are desperate to be part of the starting XI - and the head coach definitely has some selection dilemmas. Who begins as part of his midfield? Does Lawrence Shankland start up front - or will Che Adams be given the nod?
As for Germany, they have their own selection dilemmas and suffered an injury blow earlier this week when talented Bayern Munich youngster Aleksandar Pavlović was ruled out of the entire tournament due to illness.
