9. Andy Robertson - 7
Scotland captain was an immense figure for his team. He slung in a series of crosses begging to put away and demonstrated a big game mentality tht eluded a number of others. Should have scored when a brilliant opportunity opened up for him in the first half, electing to shoot high rather than low allowing the keeper to tip over. Photo: Craig Williamson - SNS Group
10. Ryan Christie - 5
Few had the form-challenged Celtic attacker in their starting line-up. Even fewer had him partnering Dykes in attack, to consign Che Adams to the bench. It wasn’t easy to discern Clarke’s reasoning, but the fact Christie - who had a couple of bright interventions - did not reappear after the interval told its own story. Photo: PAUL ELLIS
11. Lyndon Dykes - 5
The striker had a couple of clear chances to open Scotland’s account in the finals but he didn’t demonstrate the necessary conviction to capitalise on them. That was true of his display in general, he put himself about, put himself in good positions, but there was never an assurance about him making headers and pouncing on shots inside the box. 12. Che Adams - 5
The surprise omission showed enough in his second-half outing to believe he ought to have started, and should be selected for the Wembley team. Linked with Dykes as Christie wasn’t able to do. Photo: PAUL ELLIS
