What channel is Trabzonspor v Hearts? TV and live stream for Europa League clash
How to watch Trabzonspor v Hearts including free highlights
Hearts face a daunting task when they travel to Trabzonspor in the Conference League on Thursday night.
With confidence wounded following a 7-1 thrashing at Celtic Park on Sunday, Wouter Vrancken’s side will need to raise their game significantly to stand a chance of causing an upset against the star-studded Turkish side.
The Trabzonspor squad, valued at 175m euros, boasts an array of world-class names, spearheaded by Liverpool legend Mohamed Salah in attack and including André Onana in goal, former Atlético Madrid centre-back Stefan Savić, and midfield general Fabinho.
Hearts fans will travel to the Black Sea coast more in hope than expectation of witnessing a famous European result that will boost their chances of reaching the knockout stages of Uefa’s third tier competition.
Trabzonspor sit third in the Conference League table after opening their campaign with a 4-2 victory away at Finnish side KuPS, while Hearts are 19th after their 1-1 draw against Danish side Nordsjælland at Tynecastle last week.
While that result was considered a disappointment due to the concession of a late equaliser, avoiding defeat at the 40,000-capacity Papara Park in Trabzon would represent a fantastic outcome for an injury-ravaged Hearts side.
Hearts next Conference League fixture sees them travel to Swiss side Thun on November 5 before hosting Monaco on November 26. They then conclude their league phase campaign at home to Borac and away to Pafos on December 10 and 17 respectively.

On a positive note, full-back Christian Borchgrevink has recovered from his recent knock and has been declared fit to travel with the team. Long-term absentee Craig Halkett is still recovering from an achilles tendon injury.
Trabzonspor v Hearts referee and VAR
Belgian referee Lawrence Visser, who had a public fallout with Hearts manager Wouter Vrancken after showing him a red card during a match in the Belgian Pro League, has been assigned by UEFA to officiate the game. His assistant referees are Ruben Wyns and Mathias Hillaert with Bert Verbeke taking on the fourth official role. Video Assistant Referee Jan Boterberg is also from Belgium, as is AVAR Michiel Allaerts.
