SPL Fanzone: Hearts

LOOKING forward to completing our first round of SPL fixtures in Dunfermline on Saturday.

I was delighted to see the Pars back in the SPL as it’s a good away trip and Hearts normally take a few fans over to East End Park. We need to build on the win over Celtic and start to produce the goods on a consistent basis and, hopefully, Paulo Sergio has been working hard over the break.

It has been a strange first quarter of the season with a managerial change, European highs and lows and a League Cup exit at the first hurdle, but, sitting fourth in the table, we have to be reasonably happy. Last season our form improved from mid-October after an away win at Aberdeen, so, hopefully, this weekend’s away trip can have a similar effect and we can start challenging at the top end of the table. If we produce a similar performance to the Celtic game, we should be coming home from Fife with three points.
