SPL Fanzone: Hearts

The game on Sunday provided some respite from the off-field issues but it came down to Rangers taking their chances and Hearts not, as I didn’t feel there was much else between the teams.

Ryan Stevenson should have done better with the chances he had but the miss from Adrian Mrowiec was unbelievable. Paulo Sergio waited too long to make changes as Mehdi Taouil should have been on long before he was introduced. I am also not sure what Gordon Smith has done on the pitch to merit a place on the bench ahead of John Sutton but I suppose the manager must see something in training.

It is essential Vladimir Romanov sorts out the wages issue. It is happening too often, takes too long to resolve and does not indicate a well-run club. The normal spark was not there from the players on Sunday and it may be this is causing real problems behind the scenes.
