Robbie Neilson wins 4th manager of the month award
Neilson’s side won every game throughout the month, scoring 12 and conceding once in four games, and were also crowned second tier champions when local rivals Hibs lost to Rangers one day after Hearts defeated Falkirk.
The two sides will meet in Sunday’s derby, and Neilson has warned his players not to rest on their laurels, knowing full well a large chunk of the credit they’ve banked could be obliterated with a defeat at Easter Road.

“I’ve spoken to the players about it. It doesn’t matter about where you finish in the league or how well we’ve done in the league, if you don’t win a derby match then everyone’s flat.
“We were disappointed last week when we went to Ibrox and lost. It was a poor performance in the first half and we need to make sure that we right that wrong.”
Meanwhile, Ross County boss Jim McIntyre claimed his second successive manager of the month award for the SPFL Premiership.
County’s astounding resurgence continued as remained undefeated, winning two of their three games. The Highland side have now taken 22 points from their last eight games, having only tallied 12 points from the previous 24.
McIntrye said: “We’re doing a lot of things well but there’s still a long way to go,”
