Live tv date for Hearts in League Cup

HEARTS’ Scottish Communities
League Cup quarter-final against Dundee United on Wednesday, October 31 will be broadcast live on television with a 7.15pm kick-off.

The Jambos were paired with Peter Houston’s men in yesterday’s draw and armchair fans will be able to watch coverage of the match from Tannadice on BBC Scotland.

Until last month, Hearts hadn’t won a match at United’s home ground for three years but Callum Paterson helped bring that miserable run to an end, scoring a double while a long-range effort from Arvydas Novikovas secured the Gorgie outfit a 3-0 victory.

In the other ties, Rangers play host to Inverness and, 24 hours earlier, Celtic are at
home to St Johnstone while Aberdeen take on St Mirren at Pittodrie.
