Kingston on move again

Former Hearts star Larry Kingston has quit his second new club in under a year.

The Ghana midfielder has cancelled his contract with Israeli side Hapoel Beer Sheva just three months into a two-year deal.

Kingston, 31, previously left Dutch club Vitesse Arnhem last December after just six months. Both walkouts were prompted by a perceived lack of playing time.

“We agreed to release Laryea Kingston after both sides agreed on a compensation package for the player,” a Hapoel official said.

“He leaves the club with our blessing and no disagreement at all.”

Kingston has returned home and now hopes to rejoin his former club, Accra-based Hearts of Oak. He ended a three-year spell at Tynecastle last summer.
