Hearts: Directors’ box seats up for sale

HEARTS have put seats in their directors’ box up for sale as season-ticket packages for the first time.

Twenty-four seats have been made available at a cost of £3,250 plus VAT, and several have already been sold, with former directors Pilmar Smith and George Foulkes among the first to buy.

Hearts have had no directors since administrators BDO got rid of Roman Romanov, Sergejus Fedotovas and Vitalijus Vasiliauskas in June. With many other parts of Tynecastle close to capacity after a surge in season-ticket sales, the club’s commercial department came up with the idea of selling what would otherwise have been empty seats in the Main Stand.

The first competitive match of the season at Tynecastle is next Sunday’s derby with Hibs.
