Changing room chat: Romanov boxes clever with reporters

HEARTS owner Vladimir Romanov has found a new way to take out his frustrations – by boxing journalists at press conferences.

The ever-eccentric Romanov – who was famously recorded boxing with former Tynecastle striker Roman Bednar at a pre-season training camp – laid down a new challenge for basketball writers who were waiting to do a pre-match press conference ahead of his basketball team Kaunas Zalgiris’ game against CSKA Moscow.

After challenging the hacks as to whether they wanted his team to win, the Lithuanian businessman put on boxing gloves and challenged any of them to a fight.

One TV reporter accepted and Romanov boxed him until the players appeared for the press conference.
