Cat invades Tynecastle during Hearts v Dundee Utd

Curious supporters spotted a cat slinking its way around the outside of the Tynecastle pitch during Hearts 3-2 victory over Dundee United.

While making its way around the turf, the furry pitch invader would have witnessed further defensive catastrophes from Mixu Paatelainen’s visitors, particularly during a scatty opening half.

Visiting fans must have been feline the worst when Hearts were a whisker away from scoring within the first minute, but their mood was to get pawsitively better when Billy Mckay put them 1-0 up.

Hearts clawed their way back when Gavin Reilly found himself in the purrfect place to net following Sam Nicholson’s corner.

Prince Buaben lapped up the honours after Szromnik gifted Hearts a second, before Osman Sow become the game’s fourth diffurent goalscorer.

A Hearts win looked pawsitive at this point but cathletic midfielder Scott Fraser brought United back into the game.

When they were reduced to ten man immediately after, United fans must have thought their side was kitten them on.

There’s a chance the cat fancied itself good enough to get a deal at United, who remain 10 points adrift at the bottom of the Ladbrokes Premiership table.
