Hearts player ratings: Hibs' main tormentor scores an 8 but underperformer gets a 5
Hearts were left kicking themselves after conceding a 95th minute equaliser in the Edinburgh derby at Easter Road.
Robbie Neilson’s men looked on course for the three points when Lawrence Shankland fired them ahead in the 22nd minute following an exquisite pass from Barrie McKay, with Hibs struggling to find a way back into the game.
The visitors held on until the last kick of the ball when Martin Boyle, making his first Hibs appearance following his return from Saudi Arabia, came off the bench to turn home an Elie Youan cross and rescue a point for the home side.
Neilson said: “We’re very disappointed. I thought we were outstanding and dominated the game. Credit to Hibs to get a point off a performance we played so well in.
"Second half if we take two or three of those chances it’s a different story but we have to take it on the chin.”
The result leaves both sides on four points from the opening two fixtures in the cinch Premiership this season.

9. Barrie McKay - 7
Exquisite dink from the near touchline to play in Shankland for the game’s opener after switching wings with Forrest. Joy to watch at times and kept the Hibs defence on their toes. 7

Classy performance. Used his old(ish) head to good effect and pulled opponents out of position with movement and ball skills. Great cut back for Atkinson whose shot was blocked after 78 minutes. Replaced by Halliday in dying moments. 7

11. Lawrence Shankland - 8
Terrific No 9 performance but also did his bit defensively. Menace throughout and tucked away his chance in the first half with consummate efficiency – one touch, bang. Had to be strong to hold off two defenders too. Also hooked the ball off the line in the first half to preserve lead. 8

Wanted to exorcise memory of the previous weekend’s performance v Ross County when he was taken off in the first half. Came on this time and struggled to get to grips with the intensity. 3
