5. James Tarkowski (Everton) - £5million
The Toffees defender was a solid FPL point scorer last year, with Everton fairly solid under Sean Dyche. They face Brighton, Aston Villa, Spurs and Bournemouth in their opening four games, so he could be a decent option to include on your bench - before gradually introducing him to your starting XI as and when required. | Getty Images

We simply do not know how the Tractor Boys are going to perform in the top tier after their astonishing back-to-back promotions. Davis feels like a risk - but a calculated one. He grabbed an incredible 18 assists for the Portman Road side last season and is pivotal to their attacking play. Can he grab enough assist points to outweigh a potential lack of clean sheet points? 8. Joe Gomez (Liverpool) - £5million
Want a solid, dependable defender that is part of a top four team, but won't cost you the earth? Step forward England defender Joe Gomez. While not necessarily a regular starting XI defender, the 27-year-old is capable of filling in at full-back and centre-back and featured 32 times for the Reds last year.
