Done deal: Kilmarnock sign Dominic Thomas from Motherwell

The 21-year-old started is career in the youth sides of Celtic before making the switch to Fir Park in 2014. He made 39 appearances for the Steelmen without scoring goal.

He found game time hard to come by at Motherwell, spending the second half of last season on loan at Queen of the South. He made 18 appearances in all competitions for the Doonhamers, netting three times.

In the 2015/2016 season he impressed for Motherwell’s under-20 side as they won their first Scottish Youth Cuo. Thomas played a starring role in the final as they defeated Heart of Midlothian 5-2. He was handed his under-21 Scotland debut by Scot Gemmill earlier this year in a friendly with Estonia.

Thomas is Lee McCulloch’s seventh summer signing, joining Kirk Broadfoot, Daniel Higgins, Stephen O’Donnell, Alan Power, Calum Waters and Alex Samizadeh.
