A happy trip down memory lane has been spoiled somewhat by the club crashing out of the Champions League qualifiers for the third year running with supporters calling for heads to roll in the boardroom and in the dugout.
However, that doesn’t mean that raging fans can't distract themselves from a couple of minutes by remembering happier times and finding out what those heroes are up to these days...

1. Jonathan Gould
The goalkeeper spent six years at Celtic Park. He remained in football after retiring and is now goalkeeping coach for Preston North End. Photo: SNS

2. Jackie McNamara
After retiring he went into management and then working at an executive level. He suffered a brain haemorrhage earlier this year but managed to pull through and is recovering at his home in North Yorkshire. Photo: SNS Group

3. Stephane Mahe
Another player in his final year at Celtic Park, Mahe moved to Hearts for two seasons before retiring. He now lives in Pontarlier near the French-Swiss border, where he works as a youth coach. Photo: SNS Group

4. Joos Valgaeren
The Belgian remained at Celtic until 2005. He had two more stops before retirement with Club Brugge and Emmen, but injury limited his playing time. Photo: SNS Group
