Celtic have endured a rollercoaster 12 months, but with two games left in the Scottish Premiership season they still have an opportunity to win the title despite some serious turmoil.
Nicolas Kuhn, Adam Idah and Greg Taylor all departed for pastures new during the summer window as former head coach Brendan Rodgers looked to freshen up his team, though the Northern Irish boss didn’t last long into the season, resigning in October before being replaced by Wilfried Nancy, who was sacked after just 33 days in charge. In between, 74-year-old Martin O’Neill has led the team on an interim basis.
Youngsters such as Josh Clarke and Francis Turley have gone out to gain valuable experience on loan, while flops such as Shin Yamada, Odim Thiago Holm and Hayato Inamura all moved on to pastures new at different stages of the campaign.
Here we look at the 22 Celtic players who moved away from the club before the start of the new campaign, and assess how they have done for their new teams in the first half of the season. Who has found success away from Parkhead - and who regrets their decision to leave?

17. Mitchell Robertson - Livingston
The 21-year-old left-back signed a season-long loan deal with Inverness in the summer, and impressed sufficiently to win himself a permanent move to Livingston, who paid an undisclosed fee for his services. He was allowed to re-join Inverness on loan until the end of the campaign, scoring twice and assisting a further four goals as the Highlands outfit won the League One title. 18. Stephen Welsh - Motherwell (loan)
The Scottish centre-back has made a huge impression in a Motherwell side that has earned tons of plaudits on its way to a top-four finish. One of the first names on the team sheet at Fir Park, it is likely that they'll return to sign him on a permanent deal in the summer, with his route towards the Celtic starting XI currently blocked. | SNS Group Photo: SNS Group

19. Mitchel Frame - Aberdeen
Signed on a permanent deal by the Dons in the summer, it took a while for the left-back to break into the first team at Pittodrie. After making his debut for the club in January, he's played a further nine times. He scored his first senior goal against Livingston last month. | SNS Group Photo: SNS Group

20. Marco Tilio - Rapid Wien
After two seasons on loan with Melbourne City in the A-League, the 24-year-old winger opted to move to the Australian top flight with Rapid Wien. Similar to his stint at Celtic, though, he hasn’t made much impact, starting just twice in the league for his new side. | Getty Images Photo: Getty Images
