Celtic have endured a rollercoaster 12 months, but with two games left in the Scottish Premiership season they still have an opportunity to win the title despite some serious turmoil.
Nicolas Kuhn, Adam Idah and Greg Taylor all departed for pastures new during the summer window as former head coach Brendan Rodgers looked to freshen up his team, though the Northern Irish boss didn’t last long into the season, resigning in October before being replaced by Wilfried Nancy, who was sacked after just 33 days in charge. In between, 74-year-old Martin O’Neill has led the team on an interim basis.
Youngsters such as Josh Clarke and Francis Turley have gone out to gain valuable experience on loan, while flops such as Shin Yamada, Odim Thiago Holm and Hayato Inamura all moved on to pastures new at different stages of the campaign.
Here we look at the 22 Celtic players who moved away from the club before the start of the new campaign, and assess how they have done for their new teams in the first half of the season. Who has found success away from Parkhead - and who regrets their decision to leave?

9. Luis Palma - Lech Poznan (loan)
The Honduran international had a strong start to his Celtic career, but gradually fell out of the picture last season and ended it on loan to Olympiacos. He moved to Polish outfit Lech Poznan in the summer, and has been a revelation, scoring eight league goals and assisting a further five. 10. Maik Nawrocki - Hannover 96 (loan)
Found first-team opportunities limited under former head coach Brendan Rodgers, and moved to the German second tier on a season-long loan deal in July. The Polish defender has impressed at the Heinz von Heiden-Arena, recording six goal contributions in just 16 appearances despite playing at centre-back. Nawrocki is involved in a three-team battle for automatic promotion on the final day of the 2. Bundesliga season, with Hannover, Elversberg and Paderborn all locked on 59 points and vying for second place. | Getty Images

11. Gustaf Lagerbielke - Braga
A flop at Celtic, the Sweden international has been a success in Portugal with Braga, featuring regularly in a side that sealed a fourth place finish in the top flight, and made it all the way to the semi-finals of the Europa League. | AFP via Getty Images

12. Kwon Hyeok-kyu - Karlsruher
The South Korean midfielder's nomadic career has continued this season after spells at Celtic, Hibs and St Mirren. Originally sold to Nantes in the summer for an undisclosed fee, Kwon played 12 times in France before departing to sign for Karlsruher in the 2. Bundesliga. He's featured sporadically, with the side set to finish mid-table. | Getty Images
