Celtic continued their perfect start to the Scottish Premiership campaign with a comfortable 2-0 win over Hearts at the weekend as their defence title picked up further momentum.
It was two new boys they had to thank for the three points this weekend, with £11million record buy Arne Engels slotting home his first Celtic goal from the penalty spot, before Luke McCowan curled home a lovely strike on the cusp of full-time. With Adam Idah also unlucky to see a third chalked off for offside, the result and performance showed just how strong the Hoops squad is this season as they approach their highly-anticipated Champions League campaign this Wednesday.
Comfortably the highest-valued squad in the top flight, the Hoops look far more equipped than they have in recent years to have a real go in Europe this year too, with a number of player’s values well into the millions - even after Matt O’Riley’s £26million switch to Brighton.
Using popular statistics website FotMob, we look at the individual value of every Celtic player, ranked from lowest value to highest.

25. Arne Engels - £8.2million
Celtic's record signing had enjoyed a dream fortnight following his £11million switch from Augsburg. Made his international debut for Belgium last week, before putting in a man of the match performance against Hearts on Saturday. | SNS Group Photo: Craig Williamson - SNS Group

26. Reo Hatate - £8.6million
There's reason to say the Japanese midfielder is worth more, with a bid of £10million reported knocked back by Leicester City in the summer transfer window. Either way, there's no doubting he is one of Celtic's most valuable players. | SNS Group Photo: SNS Group

27. Kyogo Furuhashi - £15million
As the old adage goes, goals win games - and goals are one thing Kyogo provides in abundance. Celtic's joint most valuable player. | SNS Group Photo: SNS Group

28. Cameron Carter-Vickers - £15million
Another masterful piece of recruitment by the Hoops in recent years, the American arrived for around £6million and would almost certainly bring in more than double that should any club want to make a bid for his services. Celtic's most valuable, alongside Kyogo. | SNS Group Photo: SNS Group
