How the Celtic players rated in Europa League win over Lille
Celtic ended an otherwise miserable Europa League campaign on a high note with a 3-2 victory over French side Lille as a much-changed home team impressed for under-fire boss Neil Lennon.
David Turnbull was the star of the show in his first European start, netting the winning goal but also notching an assist for Christopher Jullien’s opener and playing a role in winning the penalty for Callum McGregor to score.
The hosts were twice pegged back by Jonathan Ikoné and ex-Parkhead loanee Timo Weah but Turnbull’s late strike gave a morale-boosting win.

Scored a double with a couple of great finishes in the first half. Threatened on the counter quite a few times in the second period. Overall a really strong performance. Photo: Craig Williamson - SNS Group
