Celtic earmark Edouard replacement

Celtic could move for Israeli international striker Shon Weissman if they lose Odsonne Edouard to Arsenal this summer, according to reports. The Wolfsberger hitman scored 29 goals in 30 games before the coronavirus shutdown and netted in Europa League matches against Roma and Borussia Monchengladbach. However, any move is likely to hinge on whether the Gunners pursue Edouard if they lose star striker Pierre-Emerick Aubameyang. (The Scotsman)

No Gers deal for Kamberi

Florian Kamberi has almost certainly made his last appearance for Hibs but is likely to miss out on a permanent move to Rangers. The former Grasshoppers forward spoke of achieving his “dream move” when he joined the Gers on loan in January but the Ibrox side are reportedly pursuing other permanent targets. Kamberi isn’t short of suitors with clubs from five different countries monitoring his situation. (The Sun)

James Anderson has shot to prominence in recent days after it was revealed he was a key benefactor at Hearts, contributing part of a £9 million investment in the club over the last three years. Winger signs Hearts deal

Hearts winger Lewis Moore has signed a new two-year contract to stay at Tynecastle Park. The 21-year-old rose to prominence under manager Daniel Stendel during the second half of last season and has now committed his future to Hearts until 2022. He is seen as one of a group of young Riccarton academy graduates who could make a major impact at first-team level over the next year and beyond. (Evening News)

Hibs on alert after Wright departure

Hibs are on high alert after St Johnstone confirmed the departure of winger Drey Wright. The Easter Road side are understood to be keen on the wideman while Bristol Rovers are also thought to be keen. (Evening News)

‘Keeper ‘would go back to Hearts’

Jamie MacDonald acknowledges the gamble he is taking. Rejecting a new Kilmarnock contract on reduced wages leaves the 34-year-old clubless during the worst crisis to hit football since World War II. No-one need explain the risk. The former Hearts goalkeeper would jump at the chance to return to Tynecastle Park if given the opportunity. However, he realises there are many issues to be resolved there before new signings will be considered. For now, he must sit, wait and hope. (The Scotsman)
